Years ago I got into the habit of listening to The World Service or Radio 4 while I fell asleep. Twenty years later I find I can’t sleep without listening to something, these days usually incredibly dull technology podcasts that put me out in about ten minutes.
However sleeping with headphones and a phone connected to a charging cable make for dangerous techno spaghetti. I’ve been trying to figure out a solution for a while and searched around but all I found were faintly ridiculous headbands.
But then I stumbled across this little gadget by Aukey.
It’s a tiny bluetooth adapter that you can plug any headphones into. Meaning you can leave the phone on the bedside cabinet and not wake up each morning finding yourself wound up in cables. So far it works brilliantly and it’s a billy bargain at £13 on Amazon.
